Timing and Performance (-T0 to -T5)
The performance of a scanning depends critically on packet transmission and timeouts. Ghosstless offers 6 preset speed templates.
| Template | Nombre | Behavior and Case of Use |
|---|---|---|
-T0 |
Paranoid | He sends packets strictly sequential and expects 5 minutes between probes. Extent evacuation of ids. |
-T1 |
Sneaky | A period of 15 seconds between each probe. Designed to avoid heuristic warning systems. |
-T2 |
Polite | Reduces bandwidth consumption and expects 0.4 seconds between packages to avoid overloading the link. |
-T3 |
Normal | Undetermined. The times are dynamically adjusted with an estimated latency of the network. |
-T4 |
Aggressive | Speed increases by reducing waiting times to a maximum of 1.25 seconds. Recommended with local networks and stable connections. |
-T5 |
Insane | Maximum aggressiveness and parallelism. Just suitable for ultra-fast cabling local networks. |
--min-rate <paquetes/segundo>: force Ghosstless to send at least that number of packages per second.--max-rate <paquetes/segundo>: The upper limit to avoid saturation of mobile or low capacity links.--min-parallelism <número>: Minimum number of probes performed in parallel.--initial-rtt-timeout <tiempo>: Adjust initial back and forth time for high latency satellite connections.
